Aman Upadhyay is a graduate student in the Neuroscience PhD program. His current work aims to understand spinal circuits of pain and how they are affected by descending neuromodulatory networks. Nithisha is a medical student attending Rowan-Virtua School of Osteopathic Medicine. She is interested in pursuing dermatology and is studying the expression of the oxytocin receptor in the skin. Alana Martinez Alana is a PhD student in the Biomedical Engineering Program. She joined the lab in Summer 2021 during the Abraira Lab Internship during her final undergraduate year. Once in the lab, she found her passion for studying spinal cord injury.
